Rider Tarot - The Greatest Arcane is an esoteric game based on the Rider Waite Tarot card deck. This
was the first software program to use the Rider-Waite deck. Since 1988, it has been periodically revised,
updated and published as a shareware program.
Traditionally, the Gypsys Edition has set the standard for the Greatest Arcane series. Version 9.5 has a
modified pull down menu system, improved graphics, reversed card images, manual card selection,
improved screen layout, and music with mp3 quality.
Rider Tarot may be played with either the 22 Major Arcane deck or the full 78 card deck including the
Minor Arcane. There are eleven popular tarot spreads to use for reading the cards. These include the
Star Spread, Celtic Cross, French Cross, Daily and Weekly Horoscope, Question / Answer, Planetary
Spread, Consequences Spread, 3 and 9 card Past Present Future Spread and the famous Zodiac Spread.
Cards may also be manually selected.
